Anytime anyone take office such as a president or CEO of a major corporation, there is a buzz about the first 100 days. Many feel that the first 100 days will set the tone for their stay in office.
Last year I used this concept that I learned from a friend of mine to achieve more in 100 day than I have in a typical year. It worked so well, that I made a BIG mistake – although I intended to go though another 100 day run before 2008 was over, I began to coast on my previous success.
As I have heard before, “If you fail to plan, you are planning to fail.”
It was during those 100 days that I received my CrossFit Affiliate status and achieved a number of MAJOR goals that I though would have taken me 2 or more years.
Looking back, that is pretty big proof of the importance of a well designed plan for your goals as I discussed yesterday.
Here is the kicker, you can start your 100 days anytime, not just today. I know it will take some time to think about what you want to achieve in those 100 days and to write them down, but once you have created your list, attack it!
Make sure your list has goals balanced in different areas of your life such as career, family and relationships, health, finances, adventure, and education. These are the same areas that I focused on, following the advice of my coach.
O yea, here is his website if you want to use the same system I did or if you just want to find out more.
I’ll be looking to find out who among you are just going to passively read this or who of you out there are actually going to act.
Nothing happens without action. I know I am.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
